Description
Looking for a groundcover that’s not just tough, but beautiful? Meet Montana Moss® Juniper—an evergreen shrub with soft, blue-green foliage that adds texture and cool tones to your landscape, year-round. It grows low and wide (about 2–4 feet tall and up to 5 feet across), spreading gently like a living carpet of underwater moss.
Don’t be fooled by its soft look—this plant is a survivor. It’s drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, and thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. That means it works just as hard in dry slopes or sunny borders as it does in a tidy front yard bed. Use it as a lawn alternative, border plant, or to fill in bare spots with beautiful, no-maintenance color.
Montana Moss® keeps its shape without constant pruning and looks great next to just about everything—from bold perennials to natural stone and wood features. If you’ve got a hot, sunny spot that needs a low-effort beauty boost, this is your plant.
Soft enough to touch. Tough enough to thrive.
