August 2026 Updates From Rohr’s, With a Stacked Discount Section

As we’re getting into August, we’re keeping busy with lots of watering. Watering, fertilizing, trimming. Certain things will stretch when they’re in a pot above ground.

The roots get warmer, so the plant has a tendency to overgrow, and then we have to do some trimming to tighten it back up so it doesn’t get floppy. And then we’re still bringing in fresh stock daily. I mean we’ve got I think today we’ve got another 400 pieces coming in. We have a lot of perennials too.

And our discount sections are massive right now. Just things that you know, got missed on watering one day, they don’t look perfect anymore and so they’re over there and I mean deep, deep, deep discounts. There’s a bunch of trees back in our tree and shrub section that were probably originally two, three, four hundred dollars, some of them down to 50 bucks.

A great chance to, I mean that’s less than we paid for them, but we’d rather turn them over and give somebody a chance. And if you get it in the ground, like a lot of them are crabapples. Crabapples come back, they’re tough as nails. Just put it in the ground, give it a little bit of Sweet Peet, some good fertilizer, keep it watered through the rest of the fall season here.

It’ll come out in spring, and it looks like nothing was wrong with it. Everything’s gonna do better in the ground than in a pot. So a lot of things in those pots have been pot bound, and they need to get in the ground, so they want to stretch those roots. We call it our scratch and dent section. Or the adoption center.

Come by and take advantage of these discounts!
