Herb of the Week – May 25, 2018
Robert Mitchum Mint
This week we are featuring Robert Mitchum Mint. This select strain of true cool black peppermint has shiny bronze-green leaves and a flavorful peppermint taste. Plants will perform best in rich, moist, well-drained soil and are sun to part shade. Mints are a ground cover, growing to be about 12 inches tall and can be restricted to container plantings, or planted in a container placed in the ground as they become very difficult to remove once established.
