Algae Control & Pond Water Quality
Rohr’s Nursery now offers our own private line of water clarity , fish food, and pond health products, so finding your solution is effortless and stress-free.
Here are a few tips to help:
Try to maintain proper balance between fish and plants.
1 oxygenator plant (ie: anacharis) for ever 2 sq ft of surface area
•1 floater plant (ie: water hyacinth) for every 10 sq ft of surface area
•Marginal plants (ie: cattail) surround 1/3 circumference of pond covered
Algae grows from the nitrogen in the water. The plants help take the nitrogen from the water to help decrease algae growth.
