Description
An award winning perennial with rich deep chocolate brown leaves. New leaves are yellow with a dark margin turning completely dark as they age. Raspberry buds open to rosy purple flowers. Astilbes do best in light shade, or filtered sun, with soil that is rich with organic matter and consistently moist soil. Consistent water is crucial to astilbes.
