Description
If you need a stunning shade-loving ground cover, look no further than Asarum splendens (Chinese Wild Ginger)! This evergreen beauty features bold, heart-shaped leaves with striking silver variegation, adding texture and contrast to woodland gardens and shady borders. While its unique purple-brown flowers may hide beneath the foliage in spring, the real show comes from its glossy, marbled leaves that shine year-round. Deer-resistant and low-maintenance, this plant thrives in moist, well-drained soil, making it a perfect choice for gardeners seeking easy-care, elegant ground cover for shady spots.
