Step 1: Crabgrass Control

Do you follow the 4-step lawn fertilization program? If so, it’s time to apply Step 1 Crabgrass Control.

Step 1 prevents the germination of listed annual seeds.

• Step 1 should be applied after the first mowing of your lawn but before the 3^rd or 4^th.
• It should be applied to a dry lawn, but it is recommended the product be watered in after application.
• Please note: Step 1 should not be used with a newly seeded lawn area. Also, you will not be able to reseed until 4 months after Step 1 has been applied.
• If you notice weeds in your lawn, it is recommended to spot treat them with another product as it is recommended you wait 6 to 8 weeks between the application of Step 1 and Step 2.
