Transplanting Daisies Before End of Fall

I have an email here from Tony. Tony wants to know, “can I split and transplant daisies now or should I wait till spring?”
You can do them now. Now is a fine time to do it. You can do it, wait till spring if you want, but you know when you’re cutting things down, now’s a fine time to do that.
A lot of times in perennials, when they start to kind of die out in the center a little bit, a lot of things like that kind of indicate that they need to be divided. Hostas, salvia are kind of notorious for doing that.
You know, when you see a kind of a bare spot in the center, it’s a good indication you need to divide it. So, and you just want to, you know, take a sharp spade and go right down the center.
You’re gonna need to be working on those daisies. You can do it now. The weather’s cooler, but we do have the sunshine, so that’s good. You just want to make sure, like, when you do replant and everything, just make sure you give it a good drink. As always, give it a good drink. We always talk about that.
